Director
Kristy
Kristy is the founder and director of Wellbalance. She is inspired to motivate leaders and workplaces toward proactive, effective and productive communication with their people. Kristy is particularly skilled in the areas of communication and conflict resolution. ​ Kristy has provided extensive training to leadership groups promoting emotionally intelligent leadership, reflective practice, mindful engagement, effective communication and conflict prevention, to name a few.  ​Kristy values integrity, trust and respect. In her work with people in their environments, these are the characteristics she aims to focus on and build.  Kristy is a contributing member of:     :  AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers)     :  The Resolution Institute (previously IAMA, Institue of Arbitrators and Mediators Australasia) and other professional associations including MHPN (Mental Health Professionals Network).

Employee Enhancement Clinician
Amanda
Amanda joined Wellbalance in 2022. She holds a Masters of Social Work degree from LaTrobe University. Amanda provides Wellbalance's tailored, proactive Employee Enhancement Program (EEP) to a number of workplaces. She is motivated in her role to build genuine relationships with employees and leaders, in order to promote workplace cohesion and stress reduction. Amanda is particularly skilled in the areas of communication and engagement. ​ Amanda has professional experience in supporting people who have been subject to trauma. She prioritises empowering people to overcome the challenges they may be facing, whether perceived small or great. Amanda values authenticity, honesty, kindness and service based leadership. Amanda is a contributing member of: : AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) : MHPN (Mental Health Professionals Network).

Employee Enhancement Clinician
Amelia
Amelia is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of counselling and social work. She holds a Bachelor of Human Services and a Master of Social Work, equipping her with a robust foundation in supporting individuals, families, and groups through various life challenges. Amelia has developed a deep specialisation in trauma, mental health, and neurodivergence, with a particular focus on creating empowering and affirming therapeutic experiences. Her approach is characterized by a gentle and supportive presence, while also being proactively challenging when needed. She adeptly utilizes a diverse range of counselling skills and modalities, tailoring her sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual. Known for her ability to hold space and foster meaningful connections, Amelia is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for her clients. Her extensive experience and compassionate approach enable her to address complex issues with both sensitivity and effectiveness, making her a highly valued practitioner in her field. Allied health clinician, Manager of Intake
Ingrid
Ingrid has a number of years of experience working as an Allied Health Clinician in multidisciplinary teams. Ingrid has gained experience in both private and public health settings and she therefore understands the importance of excellent customer service and the value of each individual inquiry.
